Free Fun with Kids at Home Depot and Lowes

Head to Home Depot for fun activities with your kids. The Home Depot Kids Workshops teach children from ages 5-12 do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Overall, a great time! In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin. On January 3rd from 9am-12pm, you can make helmet-themed bookends and on January 7th, you can make a trinket box. Find out more on the Home Depot site.

Over at Lowes, on January 10 from 10-11am, you can make a time capsule and on February 14, you can make a jewelry box. To sign up at your local store, go to the Lowes Build and Grow site.
