I always end up buying Filippo Berio olive oil, thought I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I know it’s excellent quality. Perhaps it’s because I love the taste and don’t feel the need to try another brand. Or it could be due to the fact that it’s available all over the world.

ReplyDeleteHow could you not love olive oil?!?!? It's good for you and it tastes great, why would I even bother buying any other type of oil. As a matter of fact, it is the only oil for cooking I have at home right now.
ReplyDeleteI have a great recipe for crusty bread that I make for pennies (water, yeast and flour), and having good olive oil to dip in it would be a great indulgence!
ReplyDeleteI have been using olive oil almost exclusively for several years - love the taste and health benefits. I buy the Filippo Berio EVOO most often; the taste is great and the price usually better than some other brands in my grocery store.

ReplyDeleteEarlier this year I bought Extra Virgin Olive Oil in 3 Liter tins at Cost Plus World Market in January for I think about 15 dollars or less a tin. And I had a coupon, like $ off $$ purchase. So be on the lookout if they repeat this sale next year.
However that being said, I have been cooking with just regular Olive oil lately and had better results ( I do cook at high temperatures sometimes).
