I'm not sure why Aerie (by American Eagle) hasn't issued their usual monthly freebie yet this month, but here's some cool info. provided by Free Sample Freak:

Aerie A-listers will receive a free gift card with any purchase…even clearance items! The free gift cards will be anywhere from $10-$100. $10 is the minimum…you can go and buy a $2 gloss and get a minimum of a $10 gift card. (Note from Affluent Pauper - I checked the site and you can get quite a few items for under $10 - cute underthings, t-shirts and more...).

Aerie is also holding a sweepstakes right now. Enter for your chance to win a trip for 2 to Paris! More Free Salt and Other Potential Freebies

Just in case you didn't catch my previous post about free salt a couple of weeks ago, the 50c Diamond Crystal Sea Salt coupon is back at coupons.com again. The salt costs 88-99c at the supermarket, so if your store doubles coupons, you'll get it for free! Even if you have enough salt in your pantry, this is great to donate to a food shelter.

There are some other great coupons on there right now - 50c off Betty Crocker frosting, 50c off Green Giant frozen vegetables and 50c off Chex mix - these often go on sale for $1 each at Kroger supermarkets, so print these and hang on to them; if your supermarket doubles coupons and they go on sale, you'll get them for free. Other great coupons include $1 off 2 Kraft or Cracker Barrel Cheese, $1,50/2 Kotex, Caribou Coffee, Aleve ($2 off!), Flinstones vitamins, Yoplait, a wide variety of pet food coupons and more. 50c for All Laundry Detergent

Thanks to Centsible Sawyer for posting this one...Starting today (1/17)at Big Lots, All Laundry Detergent will be on sale 2/$5. There are coupons available from the 01/03 Red Plum insert for $2/1 detergent 32 oz or higher. Don't have a Big Lots close by? Walmart and Target both price match so using this coupon will get you laundry detergent for 50 cents a bottle! Just go to the Big Lots site to print out the weekly ad if you're planning on doing the price matching.
Update - It turns out that Big Lots does not accept coupons. I will take the flyer to Target or Walmart to see if they'll price match it instead.

I also have a coupon on my coupons.com site for $1 off any bottle of All, so you can get an additional bottle or two for $1.50 each. (By the way, there are some other great coupons on there this week - Good Earth tea, high value coupons for Huggies diapers and wipes, Weight Watchers cheese, Scott toilet paper, Dannon yogurt and more...)
