Walgreens Jumbo Diapers Only $2.50 with Coupon

Walgreens jumbo diapers are buy one get one free this week (Nov 2-8). Regular retail is $8.99, so they're retailing for $4.50 this week. But you can get them for less with a coupon. Go to your pharmacy and pick up the red "Prescription Savings" booklet and use the $2 coupon that's in there to get them for merely $2.50 per pack (which is 15c per diaper - most diapers are 25 or 26c). I just ordered a special shipment from my local Walgreen's manager to be sure that I can take full advantage of this offer. There is a limit of 4 packs for the BOGO deal, but most stores allow you to process additional packs in separate transactions. For the $2 Prescription Savings coupon, the register will usually take $2 off each pack, but it depends on your store's register (I've been to the same store and one day it will take $2 off each pack and the next day it will only take it off one pack). Remember that since the $2 coupon is a Walgreens coupon rather than a manufacturer's coupon, you can keep it and re-use it. In my opinion, the Walgreens Remember - if they don't have the size you want, get a raincheck so you can go back at any time during the next year for your BOGO!

  1. This is such a great deal. My closest store didn't have the coupon book, but I'm going to go to the 5 other local stores and check for it.

  2. I hope this works. I want to use it for donations (we're past the diaper days) to a local mission and the pregnancy care center in town. Thanks for testifying to the better quality too, since Im not up to date.

  3. Be sure to ask at the pharmacy as many of the sales reps. on the floor arent aware of the coupon booklet. Some may also tell you that you need to subscribe to the Walgreens prescription program, but many Walgreens will give you the coupon booklet if you simply ask for information about the program.

  4. I think the Walgreen's Diapers are a lower quality but I leave them at the gym's daycare for my son. They rarely use the diapers I provide on him anyway so I may as well save a buck or two!

  5. I have heard reports that some stores are insisting that the coupon is relinquished. A couple of months ago I sent my husband to get diapers and he said that the clerk insisted on keeping the Walgreens coupon. I called the store, spoke to the Manager and the Manager agreed that I did not have to surrender the Walgreens coupon, since only manufacturer's coupons need to be surrendered. So he found the coupon and I drove back to the store to pick it up. Since then, several clerks have insisted that they need to keep the coupon and I've had to explain that the Manager says that the coupon does not have to be surrendered as it's a Walgreens coupon and not a manufacturer's coupon. Walgreens has "coupon practices", which are guidelines that are open to interpretation by individual store Managers (which they don't publish to consumers), but they do not have any actual coupon policies per se. I called Walgreens corporate (847-914-2500) this morning to clarify their standing on surrendering the coupons, coupons that say limit 1 but the cash register will let you scan unlimited amounts, uses of coupons on sale items, etc. The staff member said that Walgreens has had several meetings lately regarding coupons. The current standing is that the usage of Walgreens coupons is up to the discretion of your local store Manager. I recommended that they implement a coupon policy so that store Managers nationwide are on the same page.

  7. Thank you for this! I've found another brand of diapers I like, and have also stocked up for our local food pantry.

And yes -- check at the pharmacy! At my store, they were there under the counter.
