Free or Low Cost Meals for Kids During Summer

With the kids out of school, many parents, especially those with several children, have difficultly affording the extra food necessary to feed the kids breakfast and lunch. If you live in Georgia, be sure to visit the Bright Start site to find a school near you that will provide free or low cost breakfast and/or lunch. Do a search and contact the school listed for more details. If you're out of Georgia, visit the Federal site. OK, so school food isn't the greatest food, but sometimes, every bit helps. That being said, my husband says that since his school was within walking distance, he'd often go to school to eat during the summer and swears that they served the best corn muffins he's ever had!
