Free Cooking Demos at Williams Sonoma

I love to bake, especially when Fall rolls around, the air is crisp and all I can think about is baking pies. Well, if you'd like to polish up on your cooking skills, Williams Sonoma is offering the following free demos this month:

Oct 4 - fresh pasta (Its been a couple of years since I dusted off that old pasta maker I got at a garage sale - I need a refresher course!)


Oct 11- Knife skills - Learn about essential knives and knife functions, such as making garlic paste, slicing ginger and creating simple garnishes. Learn which style of knife matches your cutting style,along with the basics of knifecare and maintenance.


Oct 18 - Fall baking - This class will showcase classic fall desserts that both childrenand adults will love. You’ll learn how to make a great apple pie, delicious pocket pies and delectable cupcakes. My kinda class!


Oct 25 and 26 - Hors'dOeuvres - Expand your repertoire and learn how to make simple yet elegant starters that are perfect for entertaining.
