Free Drink and Fries from McDonalds with purchase of Angus Burger

I'm not a big fan of fast food, but I was in McDonalds the other day and saw the Angus Burger and thought "I could really go for one of those right now". Needless to say, I picked up two apple pies for my kids and left before temptation kicked in (I was one of those moms that said "my kids will only eat fast food occassionally." Well, after organizing our toy box over the weekend and donating countless happy meal toys to Goodwill, I've come to realize that we go a tad more than I had planned PK - pre-kids). Anyhoo... if you're going by McDonalds to try to new Angus Burger, you may want to print this coupon and take it with you so that you can get free fries and a drink with it (thanks to Sisterly Savings for mentioning the coupon). The coupon expires on 8/31/09.

Free Mocha Mondays at McDonalds

McDonalds is offering free samples of hot and ice mochas every Monday from now until August 3rd at participating locations between 7am and 7pm (and by sample-sized, they mean 8oz of hot mocha or 7oz of iced mocha - which is probably the same size cup you're drinking out of at home - just enought to get you through that commute!)

BOGO Beverages at McDonalds

Thanks to Sisterly Savings for posting that McDonalds is offering a “refreshment recess” Monday thru Friday 2-5pm where you can get buy one get one free beverages. This includes not only their sodas but also their java; mochas, cappuccinos and lattes. The site doesn’t mention when this offer expires. If you’re an early commuter, check with your local McDonalds as participating locations are also offering free coffee from 5-8am.

If you’re in the Charleston area, check out the coupons available at the McDonalds Charleston website. You can get a buy one get one free on a Big Mac, Free Sausage Egg Biscuit Sandwich and a Hot Fudge Sunday through Dec 31, 2008.

Cheap Eats at Mickey D’s and Captain D’s

This Sunday's Parade Magazine had two McDonalds coupons on it. One for a free Southern Style Chicken Biscuit with the purchase of a medium or large beverage and another for a Free Southern Style Chicken Sandwich with the purchase of any medium or large beverage.

Be sure to also grab the coupon on the back of the TV Guide in Sunday’s paper for the “buy one get one free” dinners at Captain D’s. Read my previous post on how to get absolutely free dinners at Captain D’s. These types of coupons are good to keep in a folder in the car. I was in the car running errands with two other people around dinnertime a couple of weeks ago and we stopped by for a free dinner!
