More kids workshops have been posted over at Home Depot. They are offered on the first Saturday of each month from 9am-noon. On Saturday, May 2nd, take your kids to Home Depot to build a small wooden toy wheelbarrow. On Saturday, June 6th, they can make a hardware sorter (actually, if you add a hook to the back of it, it looks like this could double as a shadow box for displaying small toys on the wall). The workshops are typically for kids from 5-12 years, but slightly younger kids can have a great time too with mom or dad's help. In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized apron and a pin. A great way for some creative (and free) family fun!
